It's hard to believe that my sweet niece has been in the world for over a year! I still remember my brother saying "they are telling me I see the head..." -- ha!
Since I was pregnant at the time, I was really worried about the turn out of both Ella and Liddy if Joe was unable to tell it was a baby's head. Luckily, sweet Ella was so preciously perfect and has brought immense joy to our family ever since (I would say the same of my bug as well... no weirdly shaped heads on either one!! ;)).
Unfortunately for us, Joe and Marvie live in DC (fun to visit but too far away in my opinion ;)). Pua and I were able to travel up to see them for her party. While it was a quick visit, I think we all enjoyed being together and celebrating our girl.
Her theme was "Ella-phants" and Marvie did such a great job on her cake and picking out her birthday girl outfit. I may need to borrow Ella's tu-tu...
